The MARQUIS Gold / Nero Marmor unites the disciplined architecture of a gold-tone PVD-coated stainless steel case with the timeless allure of genuine black marble. The dial is cut from genuine natural stone in a high-precision process and applied in a wafer-thin 0.4 mm layer to a sturdy brass base. Its fine natural veining makes each watch an inimitable one-of-a-kind piece. Featuring a fluted bezel in a warm gold tone, five-row link bracelet and mechanical automatic movement, this watch makes an elegant, expressive statement.
The Case & the Stainless Steel
Crafted from solid 316L stainless steel with a high-quality gold-tone PVD coating, the MARQUIS has a diameter of 41.5 mm and a balanced height of 12.0 mm. The fluted bezel refracts the light in fine facets, while the interplay of polished flanks and matte brushed bracelet links adds texture. With a tested water resistance of 5 ATM, the stainless steel case is reliably designed for everyday wear.
The Genuine Black Marble Dial & the Sapphire Crystal
The dial is made of genuine black marble (Nero Marmor), precision-cut to exactly 0.4 mm and mounted on a brass base. This process preserves the full optical depth and organic veining of the stone with an uncompromisingly flat construction. Slim, applied gold-tone indices and a fine date window at 3 o'clock blend harmoniously into the pattern. The one-of-a-kind dial is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Mohs hardness of 9.
The Mechanical Automatic Movement
Inside beats the proven Japanese Miyota Cal. 8215 automatic movement. It runs on 21 jewels, winds itself through the wearer's own movements via the ball-bearing rotor and provides a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The movement stands for durability and uncomplicated mechanical reliability.
