The Crown That Survived
THE LEGACY OF 1793
In 1793, almost every crown in France fell – all but one; this will to survive shapes the engraved 43mm case of the Palais Royale 2.0, crafted from 316L stainless steel. Its surface, with deeply embossed baroque relief engravings, lends the watch a sculptural, richly detailed and regal presence. With a screw-down security crown, sapphire crystal and 10 ATM water resistance, the case protects the Swiss calibre like a hermetic fortress.

The Golden Foundation (Construction)
Behind the solid steel caseback of the Palais Royale 2.0 operates the exclusive Swiss Made version of the Ronda 5030.D STARTECH calibre. Unlike conventional quartz movements, this movement is built as a durable, fully repairable all-metal construction.
Chapter II
The Chronograph Function (Complications)
A look at the movement reveals an extremely slim height of just 4.40 mm, achieved despite the complex chronograph mechanism. Via precise lever-controlled switching, the calibre drives the three totalisers on the dial: a small seconds, a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter. The mechanical transmission of the pushers enables not only the classic start-stop protocol but also professional ADD and SPLIT functions. This makes it effortless to measure cumulative times as well as exact split times, while the movement relentlessly keeps running in the background.

The Swiss calibre 5030.D runs fully autonomously for a period of 54 months. That means four and a half years of uninterrupted reliability on the wrist – regulated to a maximum deviation of just 6 seconds per year.
